Antichrist Superstar
Tabbed by Abigail Williams
This is my first attempt at tabbing anything so watch out for errors. This
file looks best in courier or mslinedraw.
First off, this song (and most of the others on the album) is in dropped D
tuning. The bass line follows what the guitar plays throughout the song. I'm
not tabbing rythym so listen to the song and figure it out.

Now, to try and make sense of all this
play the intro (try and get whoever is listening to you to do the "hail" part)
play the second intro
then the verse and sing:
You built me up with your wishing hell
I didn't have to sell you
You threw your money in the pissing well
You do just what they tell you
play the prechorus:
Repent, that's what i'm talking about
I shed the skin to feed the fake
Repent, that's what i'm talking about
Whose mistake am I anyway?
Chorus:
Cut the head off
Grows back hard
I am the Hydra
Now you'll see your star
solo (just make a bunch of feedback, if you've got a floyd rose, or any
floating tremolo really, you can get it to sound perfect)
Verse:
Prick your finger it is done
The moon has now eclipsed the sun
The angel has spread it's wings
The time has come for bitter things
Prechorus and chorus
Intro:
The time has come, it is quite clear
Our Antichrist is almost here...
It is done
Chorus (there's another solo in here, but it sounds like it's just a
sampled loop of a couple of guitar feeding back, you can mimic it by
sticking your guitar's pickups in front of your speaker and going crazy
with the toggle switch, it helps if you have a wah- pedal although it does
change the tone of the feedback)
Intro
there you have it, it's a pretty simple song when you get the hang of it.
I'm going to tab Irresponsible Hate Anthem when I have the time and i'm
working on Beautiful People, Angel With The Scabbed Wings, and 1996. If
anyone has any requests E-mail me.
